I have found my cat! Want to come with me to pick him up?
We could do lunch on our way as well, my treat.

| Galileo Society [Faculty and Students] |
[01 Aug 2010|01:41pm] |
We had a lot of fun last year with the Society, and with the upgrades to the telescopes on top of the Science Building, I expect things will be even better for stargazing this year. Hopefully the weather will cooperate a little better than it did earlier last year.
The signup forms for the Galileo Society will be available in my office on the third floor of the Science Building, and will also be made available at our first meeting. The first meeting or two of the Society will be informal, but all interested need to sign up by September 15th, so I can arrange our planetarium trips and our trips to MIT. As University funds are used to keep the Society free for students, it is absolutely vital that I know who is interested as soon as possible. Again, university credit is not given for membership and refreshments will be provided.
Our first meeting will be Friday, August 6th, on the top floor of the Science Building, where astronomy classes are usually held.
If you are interested, please come out for a night of stargazing and fun!

I think it has been too far since we have had any sort of teacher's night out. It is my firm conviction that this needs to be remedied immediately. Dinner and drinks somewhere? Next weekend, perhaps?
